PROGRAMME

B.Tech Programme

Candidates can do admission for B.Tech programme only through his/her JEE score. He/She must qualify the JEE Mains exam i.e. he/she must reach the minimum cut-off mark.The Department offers a 4 years B.Tech. course with capacity of 30 students per batch. The successful candidates are awarded Bachelor of Technology Degree of NIT MANIPUR in ELECTRICAL AND ELECTRONICS ENGINEERING.

M.Tech Programme

The department offers M.Tech. programme for regular category candidates who posses a valid GATE score (except those having B Tech degrees from an IIT and NIT with a minimum CPI of 7.0). A separated written test/Interview will be conducted if number of candidate is insufficient.

The department also offers M.Tech. programme for candidate in Sponsored and Part-time categories, with the condition that the candidate must be a regular employee of the sponsoring organization with at least two years of professional experience in the respective field.

PhD Programme

The department also offers programme for PhD. for the candidates who are willing to get admission for PhD programme in this Departments must satisfy one of the following criteria:

Master Degree in Engineering/Technology or equivalent in an appropriate area with a minimum CGPA of 6.5 or equivalent 60% marks or a Master’s degree by Research (MS by Research) in Engineering/Technology disciplines, with a good academic record, or Bachelor Degree in Engineering/Technology with excellent academic record with a CGPA of at least 9.0 or equivalent 85% marks and valid GATE score.
