Admission to M.Sc. Mathematics Programme in July, Academic Semester 2019-21 Session
Applications are invited for admission to Full Time M. Sc. Programme in the following disciplines for July Academic Semester 2019-21 Session.

Reservation for SC/ST/OBC is applicable as per Govt. of India rules. Number of seats depends on the resultant vacancy after centralized counselling for M. Sc. (CCMN 2019).

ELIGIBILITY
The candidates for M. Sc. Programme may be offered admission, based on certain minimum academic requirements to be satisfied by the candidates as given below:
Minimum eligibility criteria for admission to various M.Sc. programmes shall be as follows:
(i) M. Sc. Mathematics and Computing: B.Sc.(10+2+3)/BS degree (Major/Honours) in Mathematics, with a minimum of 60% marks or 6.5 CPI in a 10-point scale (55% marks or 6.0 CPI in a 10- point scale for SC/ST/PD candidates) in major/honours only.
OR
Candidates having B.Sc.(10+2+3) degree without (Major/Honours) in Mathematics, must have the concerned degree with Mathematics as a subject for two years/four semesters and (b) a minimum 60% marks or 6.5 CPI in a 10-point scale (55% marks or 6.0 CPI in a 10- point scale for SC/ST/PD candidates) in major/honours only.
APPLICATION CHECKLIST
The completed application form must be accompanied by the following documents:
i) Photocopy of marks sheet/Grade card of the secondary, higher secondary board and other university examinations.
ii) Photocopy of proof of date of birth.
iii) Photocopy of proper category (OBC/SC/ST/PH etc.) certificate from the competent authority.
iv) Form I/II/III/IV.
v) Four passport size photographs.
LEGAL JURISDICTION
All other cases, not covered in M.Sc. Ordinances shall be referred to the Senate. All disputes pertaining to the counseling and admission for the M.Sc. programme of NIT Manipur shall fall within the jurisdiction of Imphal, Manipur only.

The filled up application form must be accompanied with an application fee of Rs. 300/- (for Gen/OBC) or Rs. 150/- (for SC/ST) in the form of crossed demand draft drawn in favour of Director, NIT Manipur, payable at Bank of Baroda, NIT Manipur branch.
