INSTRUCTIONS FOR ADMISSION TO MSc. PROGRAMME THROUGH CCMN-2017 FOR THE SESSION 2017-19
[ALL CONCERNED ARE REQUESTED TO READ THE INSTRUCTIONS COMPLETELY AND CAREFULLY]
- · Admissions to M. Sc. Programmes in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics for the year 2017 will be through Centralized Counselling (CCMN- 2017) based on IIT-JAM 2017 Score. The details of the admission procedure through CCMN-2017 are available on the website www.ccmn.in
- CCMN 2017 Institute Reporting
The Institute Reporting for M.Sc Admissions of provisionally admitted candidates through CCMN 2017 is scheduled during 24-28, July 2017. All the students are requested to bring PAL, JAM score card, all the relevant certificates and marksheets, migration/transfer certificates.
The candidate having allotted seat in NIT Manipur through CCMN-2017 and do not report to NIT Manipur during 24-28, July 2017, shall forfeit his/her seat. Such seat(s), if any, shall be treated as vacant seat(s) for Institute Spot Round admission.
- Institute Spot Round: Reporting and Registration
The vacant seats after CCMN-2017 final round, if any, will be filled through the Institute Spot Round conducted by NIT Manipur. Candidates with valid JAM score not allotted seats in CCMN-2017 can apply for Institute Spot Round in prescribed format and scan copy along with JAM score card and be send it to [email protected] or [email protected].
- Admission through written test: Reporting and Registration
The Institute Written Test on remaining seats for non-JAM candidates will be conducted on Wednesday, August 2, 2017. Last date of receiving application along with complete testimonials is July 30, 2017. Short-listed candidates will be called for written test. List of selected candidates will be published on August 2, 2017 after 3:00 pm and they can register on August 3-4, 2017.

Common Instructions for all the candidates
- Submit two copies of duly signed registration form along with the demand draft. One copy of the form must be Submitted to the office of Associate Dean (PG & PhD) along with the photocopy of the demand draft and another copy to Admission counter- Mr. Somokanta or Mr. Binoi Ngangom along with original copy of demand draft. Third copy of the registration form and demand draft can be carried by the student. Download Registration Form.
- All admission (Academic & Hostel) fees payment must be made only through online in NIT Manipur website or through demand draft in favour of Director, NIT Manipur payable at ICICI Bank, Lamphelpat Branch, Imphal. Fee structure including 1st semester.
- For Hostel, separate draft has to be drawn only if hostel accommodation is required.
